Southern Journey Animal Rescue and Transport, Inc. is a humane animal welfare organization. Our mission is to help stop the euthanizing of homeless dogs and cats in Metro-Atlanta animal control shelters. We work towards that mission through rescue, transport and spay/neuter programs. We currently transports thirty to fifty dogs per month to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Massachusetts, and are in the process of partnering with another no-kill shelter located in Vermont. Funding is provided by local businesses, friends and family fundraisers and generous donations by partners like you as we do NOT receive any form of State, Federal or Local Government funding. Within a week of our transport ninety percent of the animals transported have been adopted into loving, pet-friendly homes. Currently, over one-thousand animals have been saved due to our transport and your assistance. We could not be us without you, Thank You!
